The moment where you try something new, you take that leap of faith and hope that your visualizations mirror your actions. I felt like there was a point in the past year where I had to make a decision. To stay a full time artist, or go back to where it was safe and familiar. I decided to forge on with my artistry and took the biggest breath I could in order to preserve everything I had, so I didn’t drown.

Inhale represents that moment where I started to truly reserve my energy, emotions and capabilities into this craft. I harnessed my creativity to the fullest, and took in as much opportunity as possible.

This piece is meant to look almost like the landscape is holding its breath. Its tight lines and minimal details are a way of preserving the necessary and leaving the rest.
