This piece represents and a very special and iconic mountain that can be easily seen from the trans Canada highway right before you reach lake Louise. This stunning drive captures some of the most true beauty that nature provides. As you drive along, you will see a river that winds back and forth along the highway, and numerous mountains in the distance, all with their own peaks and stories. Castle Mountain is one in particular that stands out amongst the crowd. If you go early enough in the morning, or late enough in the evening, you are lucky enough to see this mountain light up with suns glow, slowly making its way down the mountain face. Its a incredible sight and has often been the thing that wakes me up before starting a day of skiing.
