This 48” x 36” Acrylic on canvas was the start of a new series which represents Canadian wildlife predators on the hunt. I started this piece while on my artist residency this summer and almost completed it within 8 days. With a total of 75 hours and MANY layers of paint, I am happy to call this one complete! The vibrant blue and orange stripes are done with metallic paint which shimmer in the light and provide some interesting contrast between the organic fur colour’s.
