Sunrise spires represents the magninifcant Bugaboo Spires found in the Purcell mountain range close to my home. This area is visited by thousands of visitors a year and is an incredible hike through winding meadows, steep rock terrain and river crossings to eventually reach the famous explorer Conrad Kains hut. This place is a playgoruund for hikers, campers, climbers and the most experienced ski touring folks. This painting was a great opporunity to test my skills in working with multiple canvases to complete one unified painting.
