20” x 24” Acrylic on canvas with dark wood floating frame.
My second large piece in a series that showcases the transitional periods between seasons within nature and the contrasts of beauty that come from it. This piece represents the moment after a spring rain where the flowers begin to bloom and almost dance in the warm wind. This season is definitely an unpredictable one in the Canadian Rockies. As soon as you think the snow and cold is gone and spring is here, you will feel once again the shift of natures pull back into that wintery world. Flowers will eventually relentlessly bloom and dance in the cool mountain wind - solidifying the shift into a new season.
