I've been imagining this painting ever since I moved to Invermere. I often walk on the local trails overlooking the vast wetlands that change colours and shapes throughout every season. I find it so fascinating how the water systems ebb and flow throughout the valley. My favourite time is when the wild flowers just start to bloom and the landscape bursts with lush greens. I'd love to create a larger rendition from another special viewpoint. For now, I'm pretty stoked I got this one out of my head and onto canvas.
