This 16" x 20" Acrylic painting on canvas was completed in 2015. The inspiration for this piece was on one of my first drives into the rocky mountains from Calgary. I had just moved to Alberta and was in complete awe with how the road looked like it was leading us to a mountain gateway. I captured a photo of this which was a reference for this painting. the patterns were an added personalized touch in order to make the piece unique.
